Hectic Lifestyles Limited (Nutra Direct)

Hectic Lifestyles Limited, trading as Nutra Direct, manufactures a range of sports and nutritional supplements designed for people with busy lifestyles. Products are sold through their website and branded retail partnerships. The organisation operates from a manufacturing site in Strood, Rochester, employing around 140 staff.

In 2024 Nutra Direct was awarded a Platinum Healthy Medway Workplace Award.

Over the years, the organisation has significantly strengthened its Staff Wellbeing Programme. Improvements include more consistent workplace communication, regular team catch-ups, and open access to senior managers through drop-in sessions. Staff are encouraged to share ideas and raise concerns, with voucher incentives provided where suggestions lead to positive changes. The business has also introduced resilience training, a dedicated staff wellbeing day, and access to a financial consultant to support staff with tax, visa and pension queries.

Nutra Direct has also actively supported staff health through participation in a CVD Check pilot. Building on this, the organisation ran an in-house stop smoking group.
