Get set for the future

With a new Government, a complex economic outlook and new technology disrupting the way we work, the Kent and Medway Business Summit will focus on how businesses and regions can get set for the future.

Across a range of talks, panels and interactive sessions we will tackle key issues that businesses need to plan ahead. How can companies harness AI to stand out in a crowded market? What major changes does Kent need to get the county moving? What skills and challenges will future generations bring to the workforce?

The Summit will be a space to share your ideas and strategies, working out how you can collaborate better with other businesses, local authorities and government to deliver economic impact in our region. From practical sessions on how new technology can make your business more productive to direct access to academic expertise and future graduates, it will form the starting point for ongoing connections that can help drive a positive future for Kent.

Keynote sessions 

Anna Leach, Chief Economist at the Institute of Directors, will kick off the summit with an opening keynote address setting the direction for the day ahead.

The closing keynote will be delivered by YolanDa Brown OBE DL, the award-winning saxophonist, broadcaster, author, and the Chancellor of the University of Kent. She will share her journey and business success story.
